Eye Pop
This phone is a must have if you want high quaility graphics and and sound. It boasts of high screen resolution and 6gb ram. Good specs for the price!

Buyer beware
Do not buy this phone. This was not my 1st Lg phone but it will be my last. The phone size and features were great. The battery life was HORRIBLE. I chatged it all night and as soon as I took it off the charger it was at 97%. My noon It was at 50% with light use. If you cant charge the phone all day you will be left with no battery by 5pm.

So I was looking at the Samsung A71. Walking into the at&t store (in Laramie wy.) The guy recommended this phone becasue I was not certain. Ive been skeptical about LG phones in the past. Well, I compared the phones and ended up liking this one alot better! I had an iphone x before this.
This phone is alot bigger so it has taken some time to get used to the keyboard for sure but the screen is curved on the edges making the screen display super huge and excellent!! Its really fast and so far very reliable! In at 58% right now. (1:30 pm) and it was at 100% yesterday at around 3:00 pm! With full use. I just cant put it down!
This phone is very customizable and you can really make it your own!!

Random bootloops terrible software great hardwear.

I have 13 videos of it bootlooping I record everytime it does this. Since I purchased this in 2021 and its worked about 6 month of the time. It constantly goes into a bootloop forcing me to factory reset losing everything I had on the device. A bootloop is when the device turn on then restarts over and over and over. That usually happens when custom software gets flashed on the device that's not compatible. I have "official" lg firmware untouched. The bootloader is locked by LG to insure things like this don't happen and for security. So bootloop should be impossible with stock factory software. On android 10, 11 and 12 this problem happens. I've literally reset the phone its started up then I turned it off didn't do anything to it. Came back to it months later turned it on and it was bootlooping like expected. The phone is in perfect condition not one scratch or blemish on it.

Very Satisfied So Far

It took me awhile to find the correct replacement for my LG V30 phone, as it was getting older & needed a new battery I thought now would be a good time to select a newer phone. I did in fact look @ other phone's but I kept coming back to this one, I'm so glad that I did ! This phone has hind of a unique type of screen design with the beveled edges on both sides. Overall I've been very satisfied with it so far, when I first received it I was having an issue with making & receiving phone calls. As it turns out the issue was with the mobile data provider & not the phone, as an experiment I decided to switch to a different wireless carrier, as soon as I did that my phone started working great.

I bought the LG Velvet after having had BlackBerry since the 90's. I'm now recommending Velvet to all my BlackBerry friends who are in the wilderness.

Q: What's the difference between the LM-G900UM and the LM-G900UM1A? I know AT&T has the former on their approved list, but it's not listed that they accept the 1A model.
