Taking notes with the screen off
Use your stylus to take notes while your screen is off. While your device is locked you can still take quick notes with your stylus.
1.
With your screen off, press the end of your S Pen to release it.
Depending on your device's model, the S Pen may be located on the device’s bottom right or left side.
2.
Slide your S Pen out of your device to activate Off Screen Memo mode.
You can also activate Off Screen Memo mode by pressing the S Pen button if your S Pen is already removed.
3.
Write your note with your S Pen.
4.
Tap Save.
You can access your notes directly from the Samsung Notes app.

You've completed the steps!
