Control your device by making specific movements with your hand.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. Select an app to open it. Press the Home button to return to the home screen.

  2. Swipe left or right to see other home screens.

  3. VIEW OR CLOSE RUNNING APPS: Double-press the Home button to view running apps, favorites, and recently accessed contacts. Swipe left or right to see more. To switch to another app, select the desired app. If an app is not working properly, you can force it to quit in the multi-tasking display by swiping up.

    Note: To re-open an app, from the home screen select the desired app.

  4. ZOOM IN OR OUT: From a webpage or a photo, move two fingers apart to zoom in and pinch two fingers together to zoom out.

    Note: In Photos, keep pinching to see the collection or album the photo is in. You can also double-tap a photo or webpage to zoom in or out.

  5. LOCK/UNLOCK SCREEN ORIENTATION: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center, then select the Screen Orientation Lock icon to lock or unlock the screen orientation.

  6. VIEW PUSH NOTIFICATIONS: Swipe down from the top of the screen. From the Notifications panel, swipe right to view your widgets.

  7. To arrange apps, select and hold any app on the home screen until it shakes, then drag the desired app to the desired location. Press the Home button to save your arrangement.

    Note: Dragging apps to the rightmost home screen will create a new home screen.

  8. The dots above the Dock show how many Home screens you have, and which one you are viewing.

  9. ADD/REMOVE A FOLDER: While arranging apps drag, drag a desired app on top of another desired app. Select the name of the folder to rename it. Press the Home button when you are finished.

    Note: Drag apps to add or remove them. You can have multiple pages of apps in a folder. To delete a folder, remove all apps from the folder. The folder will automatically be deleted.

  10. RESET HOME SCREEN LAYOUT: From the home screen, select the Settings app then select General.

  11. Select Reset, then select Reset Home Screen Layout to return the home screen and apps to their original layout.

    Note: Folders are removed and the original wallpaper is restored.
