My Answering Machine Won't Pick Up Calls

This article explains what to do if your answering machine won't answer calls.

Ensure your answering machine is connected to the WHP Base Unit.
Adjust your answering machine settings to pick up calls before AT&T voicemail (set to pick up calls after five rings by default).
AT&T voicemail can also be programmed to wait longer to pick up a call; dial 1 then follow the voice prompts.
To completely remove AT&T voicemail, dial 611 or 1-800-331-0500 to contact AT&T Customer Care.
