1. To check the device's battery strength from the FiLIP app, tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
   
2. The Battery strength icon will be displayed underneath the child's name.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. Tap the child's name under WATCH SETTINGS.
   
5. To turn off automatic location updates, tap the Automatic Updates switch.
   
6. Ensure that Daytime Only is turned on.
   
7. Ensure that Turbo Mode is turned off.
   
8. When not using the FiLIP, tap Remotely turn the device off now to turn off.
