1. From the home screen, tap Camera.
   
2. To change shooting modes, tap Mode.
   
3. Tap the Camera icon to take a photo.
   
4. Tap the Camcorder icon to start recording video.
   
5. To take a photo while recording, tap the Camera icon.
   
6. To pause the recording, tap the Pause icon.
   
7. Tap the Record icon to resume recording.
   
8. Tap the Stop icon to stop and save the recording.
   
9. To switch between the front and rear camera, tap the Switch icon.
   
10. Tap the Gallery icon to view saved pictures and videos.
    Note: To edit saved photos, tap the Gallery icon > Swipe to the desired photo > Tap anywhere to display options > Tap the Edit icon. Alternatively, from the home screen, swipe to then tap Gallery > Navigate to the desired photo > Tap anywhere to display options > Tap the Menu icon > Tap Edit.
    
11. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rear camera is 13MP and front camera is 2MP. The video recorder is 1080p.
    Note: To take a screen shot, press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the same time until you hear the camera shutter sound and a short flashing animation. To view captured screen shots tap the Gallery or Photos app.
