1. Use your AT&T device as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.

2. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot.
   
4. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to toggle on/off.
   
5. When Mobile Hotspot is active, the Hotspot icon will display in the notification bar.
   
6. To configure the Hotspot, tap the Menu key.
   
7. Tap Configure.
   
8. Tap the Network name field and enter the desired network name.
   
9. Tap the Security drop-down to change the network security type.
   
10. Tap the Password field to change the network password.
    
11. When finished, tap SAVE.
    
12. Connected devices are displayed beneath Connected devices.
