1. You can raise or lower the volume using the volume keys on the left side of the device.
   
2. To set the device to Silent, press the volume down key until Silent is displayed.
   
3. When the device is set to Silent, the Silent icon will be displayed in the notification bar.
   
4. To adjust other Sound Profiles, select Menu, then Settings.
   
5. Select Sound Profiles.
   
6. Use the up and down arrow keys to choose between General, Meeting, Outdoor, and Silent. 
   
7. To change the ringtone, navigate to the Home screen and press the left arrow key. 
   
8. From the My Stuff menu, select Audio.
   
9. Then select Ringtone.
   
10. Use the up and down arrow keys to select a ringtone.
    
11. To preview a ringtone, use the arrow keys to select it and then press the center OK key to hear the tune. 
    
12. Choose Options, then Set as ringtone to save your choice.
