1. To lock your device, flip the screen closed.
   
2. To unlock the device, open the screen.
   
3. To set a security lock on the device, from the home screen, select Menu.
   
4. Select Settings.
   
5. Select Security.
   
6. Select Activate security codes.
   
7. Select PIN code or Phrase lock code.
   Note: For this example PIN was used.
   
8. Select On.
   
9. Enter desired PIN code.
   
10. Reenter your PIN to confirm and press OK.
