- You can download the update via Google Over the Air (GOTA).
- You must connect your device to Wi-Fi® to download the update.
- Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend backing up your media files to an SD card, computer, or using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software.

- Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
- From the device home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar and tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap System.
- Tap AT&T Software Updates, then Check for Updates.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
Verify software update
- Swipe down from the Notification bar and tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap System, then About phone.
- The Android version and Baseband version will be displayed.
- If the Android and Software build don't match the current update details; perform additional updates until they do.
Troubleshoot software update
- Visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix software update issues.
- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device or services.
