Nonprofit gives people with disabilities a spot on the field
While many kids dream of playing in the big leagues, some just want a chance to play. With the help of local minor league players and coaches, the non-profit Beautiful Lives Project is traveling America to stage baseball games for those with disabilities. Their mission gives people with disabilities the opportunity to actively participate - and helps reduce both social isolation and biases.
University students make their campus more accessible … one syllabi at a time
