If you have any home broadband service, you can connect your AP&ndash;A device to any broadband with an Ethernet cable. If your AP&ndash;A device receives an AT&amp;T cellular signal, AP&ndash;A will use your broadband by default and will automatically switch to cellular if your broadband goes down.*

AT&amp;T Phone &ndash; Advanced (AP-A) provides digital AT&amp;T phone service without a traditional landline phone connection. The AP&ndash;A device uses the AT&amp;T cellular network to provide your home telephone service. This digital home phone service utilizes VOIP (voice over IP) technology to deliver phone service over cellular connection. If the AT&amp;T cellular network connection is unavailable, you&rsquo;ll stay connected via broadband service if you have one.&nbsp;
