Report email spam in AT&T Mail

Use these options to manage spam and stop unwanted emails. Plus, learn how to unsubscribe from a sender.


Remove spam

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Right click the email and select Spam.

FYI: You can also forward spam to abuse@att.net so we can investigate it further. Make sure to include the full header. That way we can find out exactly where it came from.

Unmark as spam

If a legitimate email is accidentally filtered into the spam folder, it's easy to correct:

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Choose Spam from the navigation menu.
  3. Check the box next to the email.
  4. Select Not spam. This will move it to your inbox, and new messages from that sender should go there too.

Unsubscribe from sender

Select Block sender to stop getting emails from a sender. If you choose Mark as spam, the email just moves to your Spam folder.

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Open the email you want to block.
  3. Select (More icon), then Block sender.
