Uninstall AT&T AntiVirus Plus

Learn how to cancel and uninstall AT&T AntiVirus Plus powered by McAfee.

Remove AT&T AntiVirus Plus from your computer

First, you’ll need to cancel your subscription to AntiVirus Plus. Then you can uninstall it from your computer.
  1. Go to AT&T Internet Security Management.
  2. Enter your AT&T User ID and password. Forgot your password? Reset it now
  3. Select Disable my subscription (Windows®) or Disable my subscription (Mac).
  4. Choose Yes, disable my Internet security. AT&T AntiVirus Plus is now disabled.

Uninstall AntiVirus Plus

Once you’ve canceled your subscription, you can uninstall AT&T AntiVirus Plus. Here’s how:

Windows

  1. Close all other applications.
  2. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
  3. Select Programs.
  4. Choose McAfee Security Center from the list of programs.
  5. Select Uninstall or Remove.
  6. Choose all components to uninstall.
  7. Select Restart now to complete the process.

Mac

  1. Launch the Finder.
  2. Go to Applications.
  3. Choose McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller.
  4. Select Uninstall SiteAdvisor and then Continue.
  5. Enter your administrator password, then select OK.
  6. Select Finish to complete the process.
