To get started from a desktop browser: 1. Go to [AT&T Internet support](https://www.att.com/support/internet/ "Link opens in new window"). 2. Scroll to __Fix an issue__ and select __Sign in to start__. 3. Enter your AT&T user ID and password. 4. Wait for the diagnostic and outage checks to finish. 5. Select a topic to troubleshoot. If we find an issue that requires a technician, we’ll help you set up a repair appointment. __Good to know:__ You can also use the AT&T Smart Home Manager app to run diagnostics. Open the app and swipe to the __Your internet__ card. Tap __Learn more__ and follow the prompts. It’s easy to make or change a store appointment: 1. We want your installation to be as stress-free as possible. - Make sure someone 18 or older is available for the entire installation. It usually takes about four hours. - Don’t cancel your current service until we install your new service. - The field tech will activate your service and show you how to use your new equipment. - Our field techs can’t move TVs or furniture, so make sure wall outlets and other areas are easy to access.
