Change your Wi-Fi info – BGW320

Your Wi-Fi gateway comes with a default Wi-Fi network name and password. You can change both so they’re easier to remember.

Use Smart Home Manager to change your Wi-Fi info

Good to know: For the best Wi-Fi® performance, keep the same Wi-Fi name and password for both radios so you have just one network.
  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Select My Wi-Fi.
  3. Choose Edit next to the name or password you want to change.
  4. Select X to clear the existing info, then enter a new name or password.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Reconnect your devices with your updated network info.

Update Wi-Fi info from a device connected to your network

  1. Go to your gateway settings.
  2. Select Home Network and then Wi-Fi.
  3. In the Access Code field, enter the Device Access Code located on the back of your gateway.
  4. Select Continue.
  5. Choose Advanced options.
  6. Scroll to the Home SSID or Guest SSID area. You may have multiple network names for each band: 2.4GHz, 2.4GHz Guest, and 5.0GHz.
    • Wi-Fi name: Make sure User SSID Enable is On and enter a custom network name in the Network Name field.
    • Wi-Fi password: Select WPA in the Security drop-down and enter a new password in the Password field.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Reconnect your devices with your updated network info.
