Take a Picture

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Switch between front and rear cameras

• Focus the camera

• Zoom in and out

• Access filters

• Take a photo

• Portrait mode

This tutorial requires you to open the Camera app. From the home screen, select the  Camera app. To access the camera from the lock screen, press the Side button twice or select and drag the  Camera icon up.

Switch between front and rear cameras

Select the Switch camera icon.

Focus the camera

Select the desired area of the photo you wish to focus on. A circle will appear when the area is selected.

Zoom in and out

Move two fingers apart towards the edge of the screen to zoom in. Move two fingers inward towards the middle of the screen to zoom out.

Access filters

Select the Filters icon then select the desired filter. 

Note: Filters are not available in some camera modes.

 

Take a photo

 Select the Capture icon.

Note: Alternately, you can take a picture by pressing either of the Volume buttons.

Portrait mode

1. From the Camera app, swipe right to PORTRAIT then select the Effect strength icon.

2. Select and drag the Blur slider to blur the background as desired, then select the Capture icon.
