1. Use your AT&T smartphone as a mobile hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.

2. From the home screen, press the Menu key.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. Under Connections, tap More networks.
   
5. Tap Tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot.
   
6. Tap Mobile Hotspot.
   
7. Tap Configure.
   
8. Tap the Network name field to change the Wi-Fi network name.
   
9. Tap the Security type field to adjust the security type.
   
10. Tap the Password field to edit the network password.
    
11. Tap Save.
    
12. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to toggle on/off.
    
13. Connected devices will be displayed.
    
14. When Mobile Hotspot is toggled on, a Hotspot icon will appear in the Notifications bar.
