Learn & customize the home screen

Add shortcuts and widgets, access the notification panel, changing wallpaper, and more.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO

Tap an icon to make a selection.
Touch and drag horizontally to swipe.
Touch and drag vertically to scroll.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Notifications menu.
Note: Swipe down with two fingers to reveal the Quick settings menu.
To add an app shortcut or widget, from the home screen, tap Apps.
Touch and hold the desired app, or tap Widgets to add a widget.
Note: This tutorial selects 'Widgets'.
Swipe to, then touch and hold the desired widget.
Note: This tutorial selects 'Adapt Sound'.
Drag to the desired location on the home screen, then release to set.
The icon will appear on the home screen. Tap to activate the shortcut or widget. To change location, first touch and hold the widget.
Drag the icon to the desired location, then release to set. Drag to Remove to delete the icon from the home screen.
To change home screen layout, first touch the screen with two fingers, then move together in a pinching motion.
Tap the Add icon to add an additional home screen.
To change home screen locations, first touch and hold the desired home screen page.
Drag to the desired location, then release to set.
Drag to Remove to delete the desired home screen page.
