Stay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.
- From the home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Swipe to, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to "System", then tap About phone.
- The OS version will be displayed.
- To check for software updates, tap System updates.
- The device will automatically check for available software updates.
- Tap OK. Follow on-screen prompts to download and install any available updates.
