Wi-Fi

En este tutorial, aprenderás a hacer lo siguiente:

• Obtener acceso a Wi-Fi
• Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
• Opciones de Wi-Fi
• Connect to a Hidden Network
• Quickly Turn Wi-Fi On or Off

Cuando se conecte a una red Wi-Fi, el  El ícono Wi-Fi connected  aparecerá en la barra de notificaciones.

Importante: los datos que se transmiten a través de la red Wi-Fi no se tienen en cuenta en tu plan de datos de AT&T, de modo que no se facturarán. Existen cargos por datos cuando usas la red de AT&T.

Obtener acceso a Wi-Fi

1. Press the OK button to access the Apps tray, then press the navigational buttons to highlight the  aplicación Settings. Oprime el botón OK para seleccionar.



2. From the Network & Connectivity tab, press the down button to highlight Wi-Fi then press the OK button to select.

Conéctate a una red Wi-Fi

1. If Wi-Fi is disabled, with On highlighted, press the OK button to enable Wi-Fi services. When Wi-Fi is enabled, press the down button to highlight Available Networks, then press the OK button to select.



2. Press the up or down button to highlight the the desired Wi-Fi network, then press the OK button to select and establish a connection.

Note: If connecting to a secure network, press the down button to highlight the Password field, then use the keypad to enter the Wi-Fi password. Press the right menu button to select Connect. Las redes seguras mostrarán un ícono de candado.

Opciones de Wi-Fi

REFRESH NETWORK LIST: From the Available Networks screen, press the right menu button to select Rescan to refresh the Wi-Fi network list.



FORGET NETWORK: With the desired network highlighted, press the OK button to select. Press the left menu button to select Forget. 

Note: Press the right menu button to confirm. 

Conectarse a una red oculta

1. From the Wi-Fi screen, press the down button to highlight Advanced Settings then press the OK button to select. Ensure that Manage Networks is highlighted, then press the OK button to select.



2. Press the down button to highlight Join Hidden Network, then press the OK button to select. 

Importante: cuando te estés conectando con una red oculta, se te solicitará que ingreses el SSID de la red, el tipo de seguridad, y la contraseña (si es necesario) para continuar.

Quickly Turn Wi-Fi On or Off

From the home screen, press the up button to access Quick Settings. Oprime los botones de navegación para seleccionar  Wi-Fi icon, then press the OK button to turn on or off as desired. 

Consejos

OPTIMIZA LA DURACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA: desactiva Wi-Fi cuando no lo estés usando. Ver Optimizar la duración de la batería para obtener más información.
