Group Administrators

The Group Administrators page displays information about all of your company's Group Administrators.

Key point Group Administrators are assigned by Office Administrators to have control over the calling features and services of a specific subset of Employees, called an Administrative Group.

Key point Tip: an Administrative Group must be created prior to the creation of a Group Administrator account. Also, the Group Administrator does NOT have control over the end user service.

Select an Admin ID to view and edit information about the Group Administrator.

Select an underlined column header to sort the entries by that column. Selecting the header again will reverse the order.

Select Add Group Administrator to add a new Group Administrator.

Highlight 1

This is the Administrator identification that the new Group Administrator will use to login the Admin Tool. It is different than a User ID, which grants access to his or her Employee HIPCS portal.

Highlight 2

The Group Administrator must enter his or her Registration Code to complete various Admin Tool tasks (editing Class of Service Templates, assigning extensions to specific phones, etc.).
