Manage your home phone account

This info is for our landline long distance service in: AZ, CO, DE, HI, ID, IA, ME, MD, MA, MN, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OR, PA, RI, SD, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WY, DC.

Create a user ID for the AT&T Customer Center

If you have a legacy landline account in certain states, you can use your phone number as an ID to sign in to your account online. You’ll manage this account through the AT&T Customer Center, not in myAT&T.

Sign up for an account and create an ID

  1. Sign in to the AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Register Now.
  3. Enter your billing telephone number and online registration code. (See the Get your online registration code section if you don’t have a code.)
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your registration.

All set? You can now sign in to the AT&T Customer Center with your phone number to manage your account online. (You can’t change your user ID.)

Get your online registration code

We’ll give you an online registration code when you sign up to manage your account in the AT&T Customer Center. This code is required by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to help protect your privacy.
  1. Sign in to the AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Request an Online Registration Code.
  3. Enter the info and select Continue.
  4. Go to the registration page to finish the process after you get your code.

Get password info

Reset your password if you forgot it

  1. Sign in to AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Complete the fields and select Continue.
  4. Complete the temporary password or security questions option.
  5. Enter the temporary password if prompted.

Change your password if you know it

  1. Sign in to AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Your Account Settings.
  3. Enter and save your password information.

Password tips

Your password must:
  • Be at least six characters long
  • Contain at least one number, one letter, and one of these special characters: !@#$^*
  • Be entered carefully. It’s case sensitive so capital and lowercase letters must be correct.

Update security questions and email address details

Change your security questions and answers

  1. Sign in to the AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Your Account Settings, then Change Security Questions/Answers.
  3. Complete and submit your security questions and answers.

Good to know:
  • Choose questions and answers you can remember.
  • Keep your security questions and answers updated.

Update your email address to get account notices and info

  1. Sign in to the AT&T Customer Center.
  2. Select Your Account Settings, then Email.
  3. Update your information and select Submit.
