Find your IP address

An IP address is a unique numerical identifier for every internet-ready device. Learn how to find yours.

On a Windows pc

Use these steps for Microsoft® Windows® 10 and 11.
  1. Type cmd in the search box and press Enter.
  2. Type ipconfig and press Enter. Your computer’s IP address is listed in the IPv4 Address field.

With macOS

  1. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu.
  2. Select Network. If you're connected, the IP address is listed under Status. If you’re not connected, Select Wi-Fi, or another method to connect to the internet (for example, Ethernet, AirPort, or modem).

Using Smart Home Manager

With the app

  1. Open the Smart Home Manager app on your device.
  2. Go to Network then select Connected devices.
  3. Choose the device you want the IP address for.
  4. Scroll to Device info to see the IP address.

On your desktop

  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Select Connected devices and then choose which device you want the IP address for.
  3. Scroll to Device details to see the IP address.
