Restore wireless service for a lost or stolen device

AT&T WirelessSM

  1. Go to att.com/suspend.
  2. Select Reactivate next to the suspended device.
  3. Follow the prompts to reactivate it.


AT&T Prepaid®

  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account.
  2. Select My Device, then Report a Lost or Stolen Device.
  3. Select Report Device Found.

If you have recovered a device that you previously reported as stolen, contact us to unlock it.

Blocked devices info

  • If your device is suspended and blocked, the account owner must contact us to unblock it.
  • Outside the AT&T network? It can take up to 24 hours to unblock the device.

Returning from active duty? Contact us to reactivate your service When you reactivate, you can choose from currently available plans and add-ons.

Suspensions due to hospitalization or incarceration
Contact us to reactivate your service when you’re released. If you had device protection before suspending your service, we’ll add it back to your account when you reactivate.
