Before you file a warranty or insurance claim, let's try to fix your device issues.

Do you have a warranty for your defective device? If so, your manufacturer will repair or replace it.

Warranty info

Look for signs of physical or liquid damage that aren&rsquo;t covered by your warranty. All clear? Then, check your device warranty coverage period:

	<li>New Apple&reg; devices, or devices that Apple replaces, typically come with one-year warranties.</li>
	<li>All other new devices usually have one-year manufacturer warranties</li>
	<li>Replacement devices (including Apple devices) typically have a one-year warranty from the replacement date.</li>
</ul>

	<li>Scroll to My devices and choose Manage add-ons for the device you want to add device protection.</li>

Be sure to file a claim within 60 days of the incident. To get started, gather this info:

Once you&rsquo;ve filed a claim, contact <a href="https://www.phoneclaim.com/att/">Asurion</a> to check your status.

Asurion handles our claims, so you can&rsquo;t file a claim in an AT&amp;T store. If you have 1 of our protection plans and want to file an insurance claim:

You&rsquo;re responsible for a deductible that&rsquo;s due when you file a claim for a replacement device. This is in addition to the monthly cost of your protection plan.
