Find a lost or stolen device

Before you suspend service for a wireless line, first try to locate the lost or stolen phone or tablet.


Device location services

Apple® and AndroidTM devices both offer a location option. To use it, you must have the Find My option turned on before the device is lost.

To find a device, sign in to the associated account from another device and follow the prompts:

AT&T apps

AT&T Secure FamilyTM and AT&T ActiveArmor® advanced mobile security1 have options to help locate a device. Please note, you must have the feature turned on before your device is lost to use it.

What to do if you can’t find your device

  • Lock or wipe your device using an activated operating system or AT&T app that was activated before the device was lost or stolen.
  • Suspend service and block your device online or submit a ticket to get help from an agent.
  • Change your passwords for other accounts on your device. This includes your Apple Account, Facebook, and email accounts.
  • Report any credit cards saved on your device as lost.
