Learn about the variety of airtime minutes available with AT&T voice plans.

Learn about airtime minutes

Airtime minutes refer to the minutes you have available to talk on the phone. Different types of airtime minutes depend on the day of the week, the time of day, and the person you’re calling.
  • Anytime Minutes Minutes that you can use at any time of the day or night. Different wireless plans have different amounts of Anytime Minutes.
  • Rollover Minutes® Anytime Minutes that you don’t use in one month get added to the total minutes available the next month as Rollover Minutes. Rolled over minutes expire after 12 months, immediately upon default, or if you change your rate plan to a non-rollover plan. They aren’t redeemable for cash or credit. Night & Weekend Minutes and Mobile to Any Mobile minutes don’t roll over.
  • Night & Weekend Minutes Minutes that you can use only during weekday nights and on weekends. In general, Night & Weekend Minutes are available from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, and all day and night Saturday and Sunday. These periods can vary from location to location. Night & Weekend minutes are extra minutes that are included in your plan or can be purchased as a feature of your plan.
  • Mobile to Any Mobile minutes Minutes that you can use for calling to or from any other wireless number from any wireless carrier within the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
