AT&T’s multi-billion-dollar Project Velocity IP (VIP) is bringing high-quality, fast wireless and wireline Internet connectivity to more customer locations. By the end of 2013, just a little more than a year after we announced Project VIP, millions more of our customers had access to high speed Internet from AT&T.
And Project VIP isn’t just connecting more people to the Internet; it’s connecting more U.S. veterans to good jobs. In 2013, AT&T hired more than 4,000 veterans and their family members — 60 percent of whom were hired to support Project VIP.
