Learn about your extender LED light

The light on the front of your AT&T Wi-Fi Extender or All-Fi Booster tells you what it’s doing and how it’s performing.

Pairing issues

Do you have a solid red light while pairing to your Smart Wi-Fi Extender or All-Fi Booster? Connect an Ethernet cable from any of the ports on the back of your extender or booster directly to your Wi-Fi gateway or All-Fi Hub. If you get a solid white light, the pairing process has completed. You can disconnect the Ethernet cable and place the extender or booster in a new location.
If you get a solid red light:
  • Be sure you’re not connecting through a third-party router.
  • Make sure there aren’t any smart devices connected by Ethernet to your extender or booster.
  • Be sure you have Extended Wi-Fi Coverage service. Check your plan.
