Business Account Lock is a free security feature available for AT&T Business wireless accounts.


What to know

Business Account Lock provides an added layer of security to your wireless account. When you turn it on, it disables certain actions for your account’s wireless devices and lines. These actions include device upgrades, SIM or eSIM changes, and number transfers.

Non-wireless services (like AT&T Internet) aren’t affected by Business Account Lock.

Turn Business Account Lock on

Turning on Business Account Lock will disable device upgrades, SIM or eSIM changes, and number transfers across your account. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your AT&T business account. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Select Account lock settings.
  3. Set Account lock to ON. This will block all three actions for all accounts.

Good to know: You can permit certain actions for all lines, or all actions for specific lines. Learn more

Turn Business Account Lock off

  1. Go to your AT&T business account. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Select Account lock settings.
  3. Set Account lock to OFF.
