If you choose a 5G phone but aren't on an AT&T Unlimited Your Way plan, switch to an unlimited plan where all plans have 5G access.1View unlimited plans
If you want to transfer your number from another provider, see if it’s eligible to transfer. Wireless numbers take one to five days to transfer. Non-wireless numbers take five to seven days to transfer.
If you have Wireless Account Lock turned on, you won’t be able to add a line to your account—you’ll need to turn off the account lock first. Learn how to turn off Wireless Account Lock
