Quick Start for LaptopConnect Cards

Get expert tech support over the Internet to help:

  • Install/configure the software client on your PC to enable your LaptopConnect card
  • Update the card to current firmware
  • Show you how to use Wi-Fi, 2G, and 3G
  • Connect and secure to a Wi-Fi home network
  • Configure for auto-identification with the home network
  • Troubleshoot PC and/or software issues preventing a successful installation
  • Provide access to information on r the Internet to help:
    where to use the service

Quick Start for Netbooks

Get expert tech support over the Internet to help:

  • Set up a wireless connection
  • Configure your netbook to default to a personal wireless gateway or other preferred broadband network connection
  • Install and configure anti-virus and anti-spyware if provided by the customer
  • Troubleshoot software conflicts
  • Show you how to use Wi-Fi, 2G, and 3G
  • Configure firewall and security settings and browser settings to optimize security
  • Remove unnecessary processes from startup for faster boot-up
  • Install a desktop support icon (provided by PC)

Quick Start for Tablets

Get expert tech support over the Internet to help:

  • Set up and sync email and calendars on tablet and PC
  • Create an iTunes® or Android Market™ account
  • Get a demo/tutorial on how to use iTunes or Android Market with your device
  • Enable backup of device data to PC
  • Troubleshoot software sync issues
  • Set up a connection to a Wi-Fi network
  • Get basic training on the use of your device
  • Get a usage tutorial for Connection Manager
