Google Pay

Use Google Pay to make in-app and tap-to-pay purchases from your device. 


In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

Google Pay can be used at payment terminals that feature the google pay icon Google Pay symbol or the contactless icon Contactless symbol. Set up Google Pay

1. From the home screen, swipe up to access the Apps tray then select the google pay app Google Pay app.

2. Select Continue

3. Enter your phone number, then select Next.

4. Enter the code sent to your phone number. Google Pay will verify the code.

5. Select Next, then select the desired options to continue through the privacy prompts. Select Got it.

3. To add a method of payment, select the Payment icon then follow the prompts to complete setup.

Use Google Pay

To use Google Pay in stores, your phone must be unlocked and NFC must be enabled. To unlock your device, press the Power/Lock button located on the right side of the device then swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen.

Note: If you have set up a screen lock, enter your current screen lock or place and hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor located on the Power/Lock button to unlock.

To enable NFC, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers then select the settings icon Settings icon > Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC > select the Use NFC switch to turn NFC on or off.
