AT&T Mobility Fee Schedule

In addition to the monthly recurring charges for your AT&T Mobility post-paid wireless or service charges for your AT&T PREPAID® service (each individually, your “Service”), this Schedules lists certain additional AT&T fees (either monthly recurring fees or transactional fees charged based on a request or transaction) and government taxes/fees (amounts collected by AT&T from you and remitted to the appropriate government agency) that may apply to your Service or the equipment you use with it.

This Fee Schedule is part of your AT&T Consumer Services Agreement (“CSA”) or, for business, government and other non-Consumer customers, your wireless service agreement (“Business Agreement”). Terms not otherwise defined herein are defined in the CSA or Business Agreement.

Mobility fees for Consumer customers are described immediately below. Mobility fees for business, government and other non-Consumer customers are described here.

CONSUMER CUSTOMERS

The fees AT&T charges its Consumer Customers are listed below: Section I (AT&T Mobility Post-paid Service) and Section II (AT&T PREPAID® Service). This is not an exhaustive list; there may be additional fees that potentially apply to your Service. AT&T reserves the right to increase its fees or impose additional fees as permitted by your CSA. With respect to the monthly Federal Universal Service Fee, State Universal Service Fee and State/Local Cost Recovery Fees in Section I, AT&T will update these Fees within a reasonable time period after it receives notice of any changes enacted by federal, state and/or local government. The government taxes/fees on AT&T Mobility Post-paid Service and AT&T PREPAID® service are listed below in Section III but are not a complete list. Government taxes/fees may be subject to change or increase as required by law or regulation.

I. AT&T FEES for AT&T Mobility Post-paid Service

A. AT&T Monthly Recurring Fees

AT&T Administrative & Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee A monthly fee charged to:
  1. help AT&T recover a portion of certain expenses AT&T incurs, including, but not limited to, charges AT&T or its agents pay to interconnect with other carriers to deliver calls from AT&T customers to their customers and charges associated with cell site rents and maintenance; and,
  2. help AT&T recover payments of certain government fees imposed on AT&T and to recover the costs of compliance with government-imposed regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, expenses incurred related to Federal Regulatory Fee, Telecommunications Relay Service, Wireless Number Portability and Number Pooling, Enhanced 911 (not otherwise recovered), Wireless Tower Mandates Costs, Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) Compliance Costs, Network Outage Reporting Costs, State Commission Annual Reporting Costs (Applies only in IN, KY, LA, NM, OH, SC, SD, VA, VT, WI, WV WY), State Consumer Privacy Laws, and Puerto Rico Regulatory Fee (Puerto Rico Only).

This fee is not a tax or charge which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers and may include costs incurred in prior years that are not yet fully recovered.

Federal Universal Service Fee

A monthly fee charged to help AT&T recover its required contribution to the Federal Universal Service Fund. (Fund). The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) created the Fund in 1997 to help ensure first-class, affordable telecommunications service for all consumers across the country, especially residents in high cost rural communities and low-income customers. Additionally, the Fund provides for discounted telecommunications services for schools, libraries and rural health-care facilities.

All telecommunications providers are required to pay into the Fund, and their contributions may be recovered from customers.

This fee is not a tax or charge which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers.

State Universal Service Fee

A monthly fee charged to help AT&T recover its required contribution to 20* state (and Puerto Rico) Universal Service Funds. These Funds ensure affordable telecommunications service for all consumers in the state, especially residents in high-cost rural areas and low-income customers. In certain states, all telecommunications providers are required to pay into these funds, and their contributions may be recovered from customers.

This fee is not a tax or charge which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers.

A monthly cost recovery fee of 0.34% to 13.25% or $0.36 to $1.63 per line
State and Local Cost Recovery Fees Monthly fees collected by AT&T from its customers to recover costs AT&T pays in taxes (other than property taxes) and required payments levied by states and local governments. These fees are not taxes or surcharges which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers. A monthly cost recovery fee of 0.02% to 11.00% or $0.01 to $4.00 per line

B. AT&T Transactional Fees

The Fees listed in this section include Fees that will appear for specific customer requests and/or transactions related to your Service or account.

The entries in this section are government-imposed taxes/fees that vary by location and are subject to increase by the government. AT&T collects these amounts from its customers and remits them to the government.

Property Tax Allotment Fee (also referred to as Property Tax Allotment surcharge) A monthly fee charged to help AT&T recover costs associated with property taxes. This fee is not a tax or charge which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers. A monthly cost recovery fee of $0.20 to $0.45 per line (currently $0.26)
State and Local Cost Recovery Fees Monthly fees collected by AT&T from its customers to recover costs AT&T pays in taxes (other than property taxes) and required payments levied by states and local governments. These fees are not taxes or surcharges which the government requires AT&T collect from its customers. A monthly cost recovery fee of 0.02% to 11.00% or $0.01 to $4.00 per line
