Move contacts, messages, music, and other data to your new device using AT&T Mobile Transfer.

Check to see if both your phones are compatible.

Starting with your old phone, text TRANSFER to 6565. You'll receive a text message back with the link to download the app. Alternatively, you can search the Google Play Store for AT&T Mobile Transfer.
Now on your new phone text TRANSFER to 6565. Again, you'll receive a text message back with the link to download the app. Alternatively, you can search Google Play Store for AT&T Mobile Transfer.
On both devices, connect to your home Wi-Fi and launch AT&T Mobile Transfer.
Note: Download and install AT&T Mobile Transfer from the Google Play Store.
On the old device, tap From this phone, then follow the on-screen prompts to generate a QR code.
On the new device, tap To this phone.
Scan the QR code on the old device, with the new device, to link both devices. Follow the on-screen prompts to transfer your content.
