1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to reveal the quick settings menu.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap About.
   
4. Tap Software information.
   
5. The Android version is displayed.
   
6. To check for updates, from the Settings screen, tap AT&T software update.
   
7. Tap Check for updates.
   
8. If an update is available, follow the prompts to update the device.
