In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

A No SIM notification will be displayed in the Notification bar of the lock screen when there is no SIM card in the device.

Remove back cover

Remove the back cover by inserting your thumbnail into the notch on the top right of the device and pulling up. 

Remove battery

Remove the battery by gently pulling up from the notch on the bottom.

Insert or remove SIM & microSD card

• With the battery removed, insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched edge going in first. Push until it is all the way in. To remove, simply slide it out.

Note: To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, from the home screen, swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen then select the  Settings icon > scroll to and select Device care > select Storage > swipe left to SD card >  Menu icon > Unmount.

Insert battery

Place the battery in the battery slot with the gold contacts on the battery lined up with the gold contacts on the phone.

Replace back cover

Place the cover on the back of the phone and gently push in until the cover clicks. The cover should be flush with the rest of the device.
