In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

 

• Access the Media Controller app
• Control video playback
• Control music playback

 

Access the Media Controller app

Swipe up from the bottom of the clock screen to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the media controller app Media Controller app.

 

 

Control video playback

1. When you are playing a video on your phone, the App icon of the media player will be displayed on the clock screen. Select the App icon.

Note: For this demonstration, YouTube will be displayed.

2. To control the media from the Watch, select the desired option.

• REWIND: Select and hold Rewind icon to rewind the video.
• PLAY: Select the Play icon.
• SKIP/FORWARD: Select and hold the Forward icon to fast forward the video. Select the Forward icon to skip to the next video in your queue. 
• PAUSE: Select the Pause icon.
• INCREASE/DECREASE VOLUME: Select the Volume icon, then drag the Volume slider clockwise to raise the volume or counterclockwise to lower the volume.
• CHANGE AUDIO OUTPUT: To change the audio output, select the Audio output icon then select the desired option.

 

 

Control music playback

1. When you are playing music on your watch, the App icon of the media player will be displayed on the clock screen. Select the App icon.

Note: For this demonstration, Music will be displayed.

2. To control the media from the Watch, select the desired option.
