Software Version
Determine your current device software version and check for updates.
Keep your device up to date by checking for new software regularly. A new Operating System (also known as an OS) version may have security patches and performance improvements for your device. Ensure your device has a strong Wi-Fi or cellular connection in order to check for and download updates.
1. From your device's web browser, go to http://sonim.mobilehotspot. Enter your Username and Password, then click Log In.
Note: Ensure that your device is connected to the Sonim MegaConnect's Wi-Fi network. For more information, please visit the Connect Devices to Wi-Fi or Connect PC or Mac to Wi-Fi tutorials. If this is your first time logging into the Web admin page, the default password will be displayed on the device. From the home screen, select Menu > Help > Admin Website.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Software Update menu.
4. The Current Software Version will be displayed. To check for updates, click Check for new Updates.
Note: If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to perform the update. If the device software is up to date, exit out.
