1. To turn on Airplane mode, swipe down from the top of the screen, then select Expand.
   
2. Select Airplane mode to turn Airplane mode on.
   
3. An Airplane mode icon will be displayed in the notification bar while Airplane mode is on.
   
4. To turn Airplane mode on or off from the extended settings menu, swipe down from the Notifications bar to reveal the Action center, then select All settings.
   
5. Select Network & wireless.
   
6. Select Airplane mode.
   
7. Select the Status toggle to turn on or off.
