1. From the home screen, press and hold the Power/Lock key.
   
2. Tap Turn on Airplane mode.
   
3. Tap OK.
   
4. When Airplane mode is on, the Airplane mode icon will display in the Notifications bar.
   
5. To turn off Airplane mode, press and hold the Power/Lock key.
   
6. Tap Turn off Airplane mode.
   
7. To quickly turn airplane mode on or off, swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap Airplane mode.
