Install and remove the SIM and battery.

The Missing SIM icon will be displayed in the Notification bar when there is no SIM card in the device.
REMOVE BACK COVER & BATTERY: Remove the back cover by inserting your thumbnail into the notch at the bottom left of the back of the device and lifting up. Remove the battery by gently pulling down from the notch on the top.
INSERT/REMOVE SIM CARD: The SIM slot is in the battery compartment. Insert the nano-SIM card into the SIM slot with the metal contacts facing down and the notched edge going in first. Push until it is all the way in. To remove, press down on the stopper below the SIM card slot then slide the nano-SIM card down.
INSERT/REMOVE MEMORY CARD: Insert an optional MicroSD card up to 32GB into the MicroSD card slot, with the metal contacts facing down and the notched edge going in first. Push until it is all the way in. To remove, press down on the stopper to the left of the MicroSD card slot then slide the MicroSD card left.
Note: To unmount your memory card, from the home screen, press the OK button > select the Settings app > Storage tab > End user storage > navigate to and select Eject SD card.
REPLACE BATTERY: Place the battery in the battery slot with the gold contacts on the battery lined up with the gold contacts on the bottom of the slot.
REPLACE BACK COVER: Place the back cover on the back of the phone then press gently until the back cover clicks into place in all four corners of the phone.
