Charge the Battery

Tips on charging your battery.

  1. Use the original charger and battery to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your device.

    Note: The battery comes partially charged. When new, a fully discharged battery requires approximately 60 minutes to charge to 50% and 2 hours and 30 minutes to charge to 100%. You can use the device while charging. Battery life and charge cycles vary by use and settings. Use the original charger and battery to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your device. The device has an approximate 3G Standby time of 20 days and Use/Talk time of 21 hours. The device has an approximate 4G Standby time of 15 days and Use/Talk time of 18 hours.

  2. Insert the Micro-USB end of the Micro-USB cable into the Micro-USB port at the base of the device.

  3. Plug the charger into a wall outlet. If necessary, connect the USB cable to the charger. Alternatively, you can insert the USB end of the cable into a computer to charge.

    Note: Your device charges quicker using a power outlet then when connected to a laptop or other power source.

  4. When the phone is charging, the Charging icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.

  5. When the phone is fully charged, the Fully charged icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
