1. From the home screen, drag down from the Notifications bar.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Lock screen.
   
4. Tap Screen lock.
   
5. Tap Pattern.
   
6. Swipe the desired pattern on the screen.
   
7. Tap Continue.
   
8. Swipe the desired pattern on the screen again.
   
9. Tap Confirm.
   
10. To use the pattern screen lock, at the lock screen, swipe the chosen pattern on the screen.
