1. With device powered on, press and hold the Power key.
   
2. Tap Airplane mode.
   Note: Airplane mode disables the wireless communication abilities. While in airplane mode, phone calls, text messages, and internet access will be disabled.
   
3. While active, an icon will appear in the status bar indicating that Airplane Mode is on.
   
4. Airplane mode can also be enabled/disabled by dragging down the Notifications bar with two fingers and tapping Airplane mode.
