1. To insert the SIM card and battery, remove the base cover by prying it open at the notch in the seam.
   
2. Insert the microSIM card into the SIM card slot above the upside down SIM icon.
   
3. Press the SIM card into the slot until it locks into place.
   
4. To insert the battery, slide the Battery hatch to the left to open it.
   
5. Insert the battery, aligning the gold contacts within the battery compartment on the right, as indicated by the -+ icons on the underside of the battery hatch.
   
6. Return the Battery hatch to its original position, then slide the battery hatch to the right to close it.
   
7. Return the base cover to its original position.
   
8. Align the edges of the base cover, and press it firmly into the seam.
   
9. To insert or remove the memory card, open the memory card slot on the bottom of the device.
   Note: To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, tap Apps > Settings > More > Storage > Unmount SD Card.
   
10. Insert the memory card firmly until it clicks into place.
    Note: To remove a memory card, press the card inward until it releases.
    
11. Press the memory card slot into place firmly to close.
