1. To turn on, press and hold the Power key until the screen lights up.
   
2. To turn off, press and hold the Power key until the Device options screen displays.
   
3. Tap Power off.
   
4. Tap OK.
   
5. If the device cannot be turned off with the power key, remove the battery by opening the base cover and opening the battery hatch.
   
6. If you are unable to turn your phone on, plug the phone into a power source for fifteen minutes, then try again.
