1. From the home screen, tap the Menu icon.
   
2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Tap My device.
   
4. Tap Lock screen.
   
5. Tap Screen lock.
   
6. Tap Pattern.
   
7. Touch and drag on the Pattern canvas in any direction to create a pattern lock.
   
8. When finished drawing, tap Continue.
   
9. Touch and drag on the Pattern canvas and draw the pattern again.
   
10. Tap Confirm.
    
11. Enter the desired PIN.
    
12. Tap Continue.
    
13. Re-enter the PIN.
    
14. Tap OK.
