1. From the home screen, press the Volume Up key to increase the ringtone volume.
   
2. Press the Volume Down key to turn the ringtone volume down.
   
3. With the volume at the lowest setting, press the Volume Down key to enable Vibrate Mode.
   
4. While Vibrate Mode is enabled, the Vibrate mode icon will be displayed in the notifications bar.
   
5. With Vibrate mode enabled, press the Volume Down key to enable Silent Mode.
   
6. While Silent mode is enabled, the Silent mode icon will be displayed in the notifications bar.
   
7. Alternatively, press either of the Volume keys.
   
8. Tap the Volume settings icon.
   
9. Touch and drag the Volume Sliders to set the desired volume level.
